Rainier AWD L6-4.2L VIN S (2005)
1. If the brake caliper guide pin is to be reused, clean the brake caliper guide pin using denatured alcohol, or equivalent.
2. Dry the brake caliper guide pin using non-lubricated, filtered air.
3. Apply high temperature silicone brake lubricant to the brake caliper guide pin. DO NOT apply lubricant to the brake pad hardware.
4. Install the rear brake caliper assembly to the mounting bracket.
5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the rear brake caliper on the mounting bracket.
Tighten the brake caliper guide pins to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).
