Inspect the date code on the brake pedal position sensor. The suspect brake pedal position sensor date codes are between 334-394.

If the brake pedal position sensor date code is NOT within the suspect codes, refer to the appropriate SI diagnostic information for the
customer's concern.

If the date code is within the suspect date code, continue with the next step.
2.
Replace the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to the following information:

Mid size utilities - Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement.
3.
Verify that the repair is complete.
