Turbocharger Coolant Line: Service and Repair
Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement

Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement (LDK Or LHU) (2.0L)

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service

and Repair/Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716))Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)   (See: Engine, Cooling and
Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and Repair/Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)).

2. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (L4)   (See: Emission Control Systems/Catalytic Converter/Service and

Repair)Catalytic Converter Replacement (LDK or LHU)   (See: Emission Control Systems/Catalytic Converter/Service and Repair).

3. Remove the O2 sensor. Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 1   (See: Computers and Control Systems/Oxygen Sensor/Service

and Repair/Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 1).

4. Remove the turbo exhaust pipe heat shield bolts (1) and shield (2).
