Service Procedure

1.

Raise vehicle and support rear of cradle assembly with jack stand.

2.

Utilizing an impact wrench, remove right rear cradle bolt and lower retainer.

NOTE:

To ensure that cradle alignment is maintained, only one bolt and retainer should be removed and replaced at a time.

3.

Install NEW retainer and NEW bolt and torque to 140 Nm (103 lb ft).

4.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for left rear cradle location, remove jack stand and lower vehicle.

5.

Install GM Campaign Identification Label.
