Parts Return Program on 1995 SDM's, after an Air Bag Deployment

Delco Electronics has requested that all Sensing Diagnostic Modules (SDM's) that have a stored DTC 51 (Frontal Crash Detected) be returned for
engineering evaluation.
These SDM's are not normally replaced when a vehicle accident has occurred which deploys the air bags. However, if you have a vehicle in your facility
that is being repaired, we would like to have that SDM replaced under warranty. This program will continue for one year from the date of this bulletin, or
may be ended earlier by another bulletin.
A replacement SDM should be obtained through the normal GMSPO system.
