Transmission Mode Switch: Description and Operation
Some 4T60E transaxies are equipped with a transaxle mode switch. When this switch is in the "ON" position, solenoid "A" is "OFF" while "B" is "ON."
This gives the driver the ability to start out in second gear. Tech 1 displays "2ND GEAR START SW" "ON" or "OFF."
