1.
Support vehicle at frame and support rear axle with a suitable jack.
2.
Disconnect shock absorbers from lower mounting brackets, Fig. 2, then the brake hose from the axle housing.
3.
Disconnect upper control arms at differential.
4.
Lower jack fully, extending springs, then remove springs. Do not allow the brake hose to become kinked or stretched.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Refer to Fig. 3, for correct coil spring staggering. After installation, bleed brakes.
