MODELS AFFECTED: 1981-84 REGAL, LESABRE & ELECTRA
When installing a rear pinion bearing outer race an 1981 through 1984 7-1/2" axles, use installer J-29609 with drive handle J-8092. Page 4B-12 of the
1984 Chassis Service Manual lists J-6197 as the required Rear Pinion Bearing Outer Race Installer, which is incorrect. Update your Chassis Service
Manual to show J-29609 as the correct tool number.
