Mode Valve Vacuum Actuators

A/C BI-Level Mode Valve Vacuum Actuator

Remove or Disconnect

1. Left side instrument panel insulator. 
2. Instrument panel steering column opening filler. 

3. Instrument panel driver knee bolster bracket. 

4. Aspirator duct from inside air temperature sensor and reposition.
5. Cut tie strap that is on the back side of the mode valve vacuum actuator.
6. Vacuum lines from mode valve vacuum actuator.
7. Mode valve from module, by unsnapping case joint.

Install or Connect

1. Mode valve to module, by snapping case joint.
2. Vacuum lines to mode valve.
3. Tie strap that is on the back side of the mode valve vacuum actuator.
4. Aspirator duct to inside air temperature sensor.
5. Instrument panel driver knee bolster bracket. 

6. Instrument panel steering column opening filler.
7. Left side instrument panel insulator. 

Heater/Defroster Mode Valve Vacuum Actuator

Remove or Disconnect

1. Instrument panel lower compartment. 
2. Vacuum lines from mode valve.
3. Mode valve from module, by unsnapping case joint.

Install or Connect

1. Mode valve to module, by snapping case joint.
2. Vacuum lines to mode valve.
3. Instrument panel lower compartment. 

Air Inlet Valve Vacuum Actuator

Remove or Disconnect

1. Instrument panel lower compartment. 
2. Vacuum electric solenoid. 
3. Vacuum line from mode valve.
4. Mode valve from module, by unsnapping case joint.

Install or Connect

1. Mode valve to module, by snapping case joint.
2. Vacuum line to mode valve.
3. Vacuum electric solenoid. 
4. Instrument panel lower compartment.
