Proceed as follows with pressure bleeding equipment connected and pressurized.
A. Reomve traction control module bolt to bracket to access bleeder valves.
B. Attach a clear plastic hose to the right side bleeder valve on the traction control module. Place the other end of the hose in a container to
collect draining brake fluid. Do not submerge hose end into fluid.
C. Slowly open bleeder valve and allow fluid to flow until clean brake fluid flows or until at least 118 ml (4 ounces) of fluid is accumulated.
D. Close valve.
E. Repeat above procedure for the left side bleeder valve until clean brake fluid flows or until at least 118 ml (4 ounces) of fluid is accumulated.

Tighten traction control module bleeder valves to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).

Tighten traction control module bolt to bracket to 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.).
9. Raise vehicle and suitably support.

Wheel position flush sequence:
Right rear > Left rear > Right front > Left front.
10. Flush wheel brakes using the following sequence.
A. Attach bleeder hose to bleeder valve at each wheel and place the other end into a container to collect draining brake fluid. Do not submerge
hose end in fluid.
B. Slowly open bleeder valve and allow fluid to flow.
C. Close valve when clean brake fluid begins to flow or at least 235 ml (8 ounces) of fluid is accumulated.
11. Flush right rear wheel brake using sequence in Step 10.
12. Flush left front wheel brake using sequence in Step 10.
13. Flush left rear wheel brake using sequence in Step 10.
14. Flush right front wheel brake using sequence in Step 10.

Tighten bleeder valves:
^
Front Caliper to 13 Nm (115 inch lbs.).
^
Rear Caliper to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
^
Rear Wheel Cylinder to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
CAUTION: Be sure the bleeder valves do not leak.
15. Lower vehicle.
16. Remove bleeder adapter.
17. Replace all rubber components.
18. Repeat flushing procedure one more time.

Inspect brake fluid level in reservoir and fill to correct level if necessary.
19. Install brake fluid reservoir cap.
20. Bleed the entire brake hydraulic system.
Manual Flushing
NOTE: In the following steps, use a suitable container and/or shop rags to catch fluid and prevent it from contacting any painted surfaces.
1. Clean brake fluid reservoir cover and surrounding area.
2. Remove brake fluid reservoir cover.
3. Remove any remaining brake fluid in brake fluid reservoir.
4. Refill brake fluid reservoir with clean DOT 3 brake fluid to proper level.
5. Install brake fluid reservoir cover.
6. Flush brake modulator as follows:
a. Attach a clear plastic bleeder hose to rearward bleeder valve on the brake modulator and place the other end of hose in a container to collect
draining brake fluid. Do not submerge hose end into fluid.
b. Slowly open rearward bleeder valve one half to one full turn.
c. Depress brake pedal until fluid begins to flow.
d. Close valve and release brake pedal. Repeat above steps until clean brake fluid flows or at least 118 ml (4 ounces) of fluid is accumulated.
e. Repeat above procedure for the forward bleeder valve until clean brake fluid flows or at least 118 ml (4 ounces) of brake fluid is accumulated.
^11GTighten Antilock Brake System (ABS) brake modulator bleeder valves to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
7. Flush the traction control module as follows:
a. Remove the traction control module bolt to bracket to access bleeder valves.
b. Attach a clear plastic bleeder hose to right side bleeder valve on the traction control module and place the other end of hose in a container to
collect draining brake fluid. Do not submerge hose end into fluid.
c. Slowly open the bleeder valve one half to one full turn.
d. Depress brake pedal until bluid begins to flow.
e. Close valve and release brake pedal. Repeat above steps until clean brake fluid flows or at least 118 ml (4 ounces) of fluid is accumulated.
f.
Repeat above procedure for the left side bleeder valve until clean brake fluid flows or at least 118 ml (4 ounces) of fluid is accumulated.
^11GTighten traction control module bleeder valves to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
