REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable. 
2. Drain the coolant. See Cooling System.
3. Remove the drive belt. 
4. Remove the generator. See Starting and Charging.
5. Remove the heater hoses. See Heating and Air Conditioning.
6. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolts.
7. Remove the drive belt tensioner.

INSTALLATION  

1. Install the drive belt tensioner. 
2. Install the drive belt tensioner bolts. Tighten the drive belt bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the heater hoses. See Heating and Air Conditioning.
4. Install the generator. See Starting and Charging.
5. Install the drive belt. 
6. Refill the cooling system with coolant. See Cooling System.
7. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable.
