Muffler: Service and Repair
Left Side
REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Support exhaust pipe and left hand muffler.
3. Cut exhaust pipe at left hand muffler in front of weld. Cut must be made as close to the left hand muffler as possible to ensure adequate overlap for
clamping.
4. Hangers from muffler.
5. Tailpipe from muffler (if equipped).
6. Muffler.
INSTALLATION
1. Exhaust pipe clamp to end of new left hand muffler. Do not tighten.
