This vehicle is equipped with Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR). Refer to Service Precautions / Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint
Systems) before performing service on or around SIR components or wiring. Failure to follow CAUTIONS could result in possible air
bag deployment, personal injury, or otherwise unneeded SIR system repairs.

The SDM can maintain sufficient voltage to cause a deployment for up to 10 seconds after the ignition switch is turned "OFF" or the
battery is disconnected. Many of the service procedures require disconnection of the AIR BAG-1 Fuse and the inflamer module circuits
from the deployment loops to avoid an accidental deployment.
