Brake Light Switch: Adjustments

NOTICE:  Proper stoplamp switch adjustment is essential. Improper stoplamp switch adjustment may cause brake drag, heat buildup and excessive
brake lining wear.

Important:  The stoplamp switch and the cruise control release switch should be adjusted together. The adjustment procedure for these switches are
identical. 

With the brake pedal in the fully released position, the stoplamp plunger should be fully depressed against the brake pedal shanks.
