Interior Illumination Functions

Theater Dimming - The Body Control Module (BCM) provides a capability allowing the interior lights to be smoothly changed from full
brightness to off.

Interior Lamp Control - The BCM controls the interior lights based on the status of the I/P mounted courtesy lamp switch and the door mounted
jamb switches.

Delayed Illumination - The BCM provides a delayed illumination capability, leaving the interior lights on for a period of time after all doors have
been closed.

Exit Illumination - The BCM provides an exit lighting feature, designed to illuminate the vehicle interior when the driver removes the key from the
ignition.

Illumination on Remote Activation - The BCM provides the capability of turning on the interior lights for a period of time when the driver
activates certain remote functions.

Battery Rundown Protection - The BCM attempts to minimize the possibility of the vehicle battery being run down by certain inadvertent loads.
