Use care in cleaning the gasket surfaces on the intake manifold and the throttle body assembly, as sharp tools may damage the gasket surfaces.
10. Clean the gasket surface on the intake manifold and the throttle body assembly.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the new gasket, and new inserts and studs if necessary.
2. Install the throttle body assembly.
3. Install the throttle body retaining nuts and bolts (3).
Tighten
Throttle body retaining nuts and bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb ft).
4. Install the accelerator control and cruise control cables to accelerator cable bracket at throttle body
5. Install the accelerator control and cruise control cables to the throttle body lever.

The throttle should operate freely without binding between full closed and wide open throttle.
6. Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal. Also check for poor carpet fit under the accelerator
pedal.
7. Install the electrical harness retainer clip and harness to the accelerator control cable bracket.
8. Install the vacuum lines to throttle body as noted on removal.
9. Install the air intake tube.
10. Refill the radiator to replace the lost coolant.
