Seat Back Heater Element Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket  (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
2. Remove the back from the front seat. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Front  (See: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat

Back Replacement - Front) .

3. Remove the headrest. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Head

Restraint Replacement - Front Seat) .

4. Remove the armrest. Refer to Armrest Replacement - Front Seat  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Arm Rest/Service and Repair) .

5. Separate the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.

6. Position the cover end flaps for access.
7. Remove the side air bag from the front seat. Refer to one of the following procedures:

8. Separate the seat back cover from the front retainer at the side impact airbag.

9. Separate the seat back cover from the rear retainer at the side impact airbag.

10. Separate the hook and the loop retainers securing the seat back cover to the pad.
