2. Important:  Install NEW copper brake hose gaskets (3).

Assemble the brake hose bolt and the NEW copper brake hose gaskets to the brake hose (2).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the brake hose bolt to the brake caliper (1).
Tighten the brake hose bolt to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).

Notice:  Make sure the brake hose is not twisted or kinked after installation. Damage to the hose could result.

Important:  Use the stripe on the brake hose in order to align the brake hose with the notch in the brake hose bracket.

4. Install the brake hose (3) to the brake hose bracket (2).
5. Install the brake hose retainer (4) to the brake hose (3).
6. Remove the rubber cap or plug from the exposed brake pipe fitting end.
7. Install the brake pipe fitting (1) to the brake hose.

Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

8. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. 
9. Install the wheel and tire.

Lower the vehicle.
