Rendezvous AWD V6-3.6L VIN 7 (2004)
2. Align the splines on the torque tube shaft to the differential pinion shaft.
3. Install the torque tube (1) to the differential (2).
4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the bolts (5) to the torque tube bracket (4).

Tighten the torque tube bracket bolts to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the torque tube-to-bracket through bolt nut (1) to 64 Nm (47 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the torque tube-to-differential carrier bolts (1).
Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
