Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LY7)
Removal Procedure
1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the right front tire and wheel.
4. Remove the inner fender liner enough to gain access to the front frame bolts.
5. Lower the vehicle to allow a floor jack to engage with the frame.
6. Use a floor jack in order to support the frame and the powertrain.
7. Remove the right side frame-to-body bolts.
8. Use the floor jack to lower the right side of the frame and powertrain to provide clearance to the back of the reservoir.
9. Disconnect the Engine Control Module (ECM) wire harness from the ECM wire harness clip on the reservoir.
10. Remove the power steering pressure pipe/hose from the power steering reservoir bracket.
