Seat Cushion Frame Replacement - Front

SEAT CUSHION FRAME REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the front bucket seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the front seat adjuster.
3. Remove the front seat back from the front seat.
4. Remove the front seat cushion cover from the front seat cushion.

IMPORTANT:  Remove the front seat cushion cover and the cushion as one piece.

5. Remove the front seat cushion from the front seat frame.
6. Disconnect all required wiring harnesses from the front seat cushion frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Connect all required wiring harnesses to the front seat cushion frame.
2. Install the front seat cushion to the front seat cushion frame.
3. Install the front seat cushion cover to the front seat cushion.
4. Install the front seat adjuster.
5. Install the front seat back to the front seat.
6. Install the front bucket seat to the vehicle.
7. Re-zero the passenger presence system. Refer to Passenger Presence System Rezeroing Procedure in Restraint Systems.

CAUTION:  To avoid personal injuries, re-zero the passenger presence system whenever you remove or replace the seat cushion or trim.
Failure to do so may cause the system to malfunction.
