13. Use the J37043 in order to remove the cable from the lever.
14. Remove the switch, if being replaced.

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the switch, if removed.
2. Install the cable to the new parking brake lever.
3. Install the cable end to the lever clevis.

4. Install the new parking brake lever.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the three lever to body mounting nuts.

Tighten parking brake lever mounting nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
