Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power  (See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Mirror

Replacement - Power) .

2. Remove the rear screw from the front door outer belt sealing strip.
3. Remove the outer belt sealing strip by pulling the sealing strip from the front door pinchweld flange.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the outer belt sealing strip to the front door pinchweld flange.
2. Install the sealing strip to the pinchweld flange pressing into place until fully seated.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screw to the rear of the front door outer belt sealing strip.

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power  (See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Mirror Replacement

- Power) .
