Backup Lamp Switch: Adjustments
Back-Up Lamp/Neutral Safety Switch
1. Position transaxle shifter assembly in N notch in detent plate, then loosen switch attaching screws.
2. Rotate switch on shifter assembly until adjustment hole aligns with carrier tang hole.
3. Insert 3/32 inch gauge pin into adjustment hole to a depth of 5/8 inch on Reatta models and 1989-90 Riviera, Toronado and Trofeo models, or
15/32 inch on Eldorado and Seville models.
4. Tighten switch mounting bolts, then remove gauge pin.
