CONDITION:
An intermittent no crank condition may be caused by a malfunctioning Pass-Key Relay. The security light will come on for two seconds (5 on LeSabre),
and then go out, when attempting to start the vehicle. The vehicle, however, will not enable the starter.
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
On all vehicles, replace the starter enable relay with Part Number 25609047. Refer to the appropriate service manual for location of the starter enable
relay.
On all 1991 Park Avenue/Ultras and 1992 Park Avenue/Ultras built before N1628377, also change the wiring as per the procedure.
On LeSabres built before VIN NH436308, change the wiring as follows:
