Ignition Control Module And Coil Assembly

Ignition Coils And Ignition Control Module

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Loosen bolt to remove 14 way connector at ignition control module.
2. Spark plug wires from coil assemblies.
3. 6 screws securing coil assemblies to ignition control module.
4. Coils from ignition control module.
5. Nuts and washers securing ignition control module assembly to bracket.
6. Electronic ignition module.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Coils to ignition control module.
2. 6 screws.

Tighten
Torque to 4 to 5 Nm (40 lb. in.).

3. Nuts and washers securing assembly to bracket.

Tighten
Torque to 8 Nm (70 lb. in.).

4. Spark plugs wires.
5. 14 way connector to module, secure with bolt.
