Install the new valve and sleeve assembly into the case pump intake hole (Figure 1-A) using a 10 mm deep well socket on a 3/8" extension.
Carefully tap the valve and sleeve assembly up into the pump intake hole with a small hammer. Care should be taken to center the assembly in the
intake hole prior to tapping it into place.

Reassemble the transmission following service manual procedures.
