defroster valve actuator (11) away to remove it.

Unhook the defroster valve actuator arm from the defroster valve crank.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Defroster valve actuator (11).

Engage the slot in the defroster valve actuator arm with the hook of the defroster valve crank.

Slide the defroster valve actuator (11) into place until the catch clicks to lock the defroster valve actuator (11) to the module (1).
2. Vacuum hose.

Bend the retaining tab of the vacuum hose connector back flush against the end of the connector and hold it there while slipping the tab and
connector onto the vacuum tube. When the connector is fully seated, pull the D-retaining tab over the L-shaped bend in the tube to hold the
connector in place.
3. Steering column opening filler (30).

Align the steering column opening filler (30) in the opening and press it straight up to snap the four filler integral clips into the instrument
panel carrier (25).
^
Install the two steering column opening filler screws (31).
TIGHTEN
^
Screws (31) to 1.9 Nm (17 lb. in.).
