Roadmaster V8-305 5.0L (1992)
General Motors has determined that certain 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon model vehicles may have been assembled with mislabeled fuse blocks
and/or owner's manual which state the incorrect fuse specifications. Although these vehicles were assembled with the correct fuses, subsequent fuse
replacements based on incorrect information could result in inadequate circuit protection or repeated fuse failures.
WHAT WE WILL Do
Buick Motor Division, for your convenience, is sending you the enclosed correct fuse block label and owner's manual fuse usage specification insert.
You may install these yourself or, if you wish, you may have your Buick dealer install them for you at no charge. If you choose to have the dealer install
them, take this letter, the fuse block label and the owner's manual insert provided with you to the dealership.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Please install the enclosed fuse block label and owner's manual insert, (see illustration and instructions on the back of this letter). After you install these,
or if you have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us know by completing the postage paid owner reply card enclosed and returning it to us. As
mentioned previously, you also have the option of taking your vehicle to your Buick dealer for installation. If you decide to have the fuse label and insert
installed by the dealer, please ask your dealer if you wish to know how much time will be needed to schedule, process and repair your vehicle.
