Fuse Block: All Technical Service Bulletins
Owner Letter
Dear 1992 Buick Roadmaster Sedan Owner:
General Motors has determined that certain 1992 Buick Roadmaster Sedan model vehicles may have been assembled with mislabeled fuse blocks which
state the incorrect fuse specifications. Although these vehicles were assembled with the correct fuses, subsequent fuse replacements based on incorrect
information could result in inadequate circuit protection or repeated fuse failures.
WHAT WE WILL DO
Buick Motor Division, for your convenience, is sending you the enclosed correct fuse block label for you to install on the back side of the fuse block
access door. You may install the label yourself or, if you wish, you may have your Buick dealer install it for you at no charge. If you choose to have the
dealer install the label, take this letter and the label provided with you to the dealership.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Please install the enclosed label (see illustration and instructions on the back side of this letter). After you install the label, or if you have sold or traded
your vehicle, please let us know by completing the postage paid owner reply card enclosed and returning it to us. As mentioned previously, you also have
the option of taking your vehicle to your Buick dealer for installation. If you decide to have the label installed by the dealer, please ask your dealer if you
wish to know how much time will be needed to schedule, process and repair your vehicle.
We are sorry to cause you this inconvenience; however, we have taken this action in the interest of your continued satisfaction with our products.
Sedan Instructions
1 .
Open driver's door and locate fuse block door on end of instrument panel (see illustration).
2.
Fuse block door may be removed by pulling tab outward.
3.
Carefully peel packing paper from new label titled "Sedan-Fuse Usage Chart" and install over existing label on fuse block door.
4.
Reinstall fuse block door. Make sure the tabs are inserted in the front first.
5.
Complete Owner Reply Card and return it to us.
