MODELS AFFECTED:
1992 ROADMASTER SEDAN

This is a Customer Satisfaction Product Improvement campaign. Dealer should notify district service manager of any owner who finds this substitution
unacceptable.

CONDITION

General Motors has determined that certain 1992 Roadmaster sedan model vehicles built with deluxe wheelcovers have a retention system that can fail. 
The plastic retention feet may fracture and allow the wheelcover(s) to come off the vehicle.

DEALER ACTION

To correct this condition, dealers are to inspect and, if necessary, replace the original deluxe plastic wheelcovers with newly available stainless steel
deluxe wheelcovers.

VEHICLES LISTED IN BUICK'S RECORDS AS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER LABOR OPERATION T5236 WERE
DELETED FROM THIS CAMPAIGN. AN INSPECTIONG LABOR OPERATION IS INCLUDED, HOWEVER, TO COVER
POSSIBLE DEALER INSTALLED OPTIONAL WHEELCOVERS/WHEELS AND WARRANTY INFORMATION NOT
PROCESSED INTO HOME OFFICE RECORDS AT TIME OF CAMPAIGN INITIATION.
