This bulletin supersedes Bulletin No. 86-1-7 dated June, 1986, for part number correction. Please discard the original bulletin and replace it with this one.
A/C COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE PIPE
Some 1985-86 Skyhawks with 2.0L engines may experience a broken air conditioning compressor discharge pipe. If this occurs, a bracket and clamp to
support the muffler is now available to prevent recurrence of the failure. Bracket and clamp support kit, Part Number 22535625 is now available from
GMWDD and should be installed. The bracket can be installed by removing the compressor to bracket bolt and installing the bracket and clamp as
shown in Illustration.
