TRANSAXLE CONVERTER COVER INTERFERENCE NOISE
MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-86 SKYHAWKS WITH THM 125C TRANSAXLE
Some 1985 and 1986 Skyhawks with THM 125C automatic transaxles, may exhibit
a noise generated by an interference condition between the plastic converter cover and the flexplate.
TRANSAXLE CONVERTER COVER
Vehicles exhibiting this condition may be repaired by trimming the converter cover in the area of the interference, as shown in the illustration.
Use applicable labor time and operation number. Add 0.1 hour for trimming cover.
