DRIVE AXLE TRI-POT SEAL CLAMP USAGE
MODELS AFFECTED:
1986 NON TURBO SKYHAWKS
For the 1986 model year, a limited quantity of non turbo Skyhawk vehicles, with both automatic and manual transaxles, have been built using a
low-profile, earless Tri-Pot seal retaining clamp on the left-hand inboard axle joint.
INSTALLATION OF DRIVE AXLE SEAL CLAMPS
These assemblies may be serviced with Seal Service Kit Tri-Pot 7845350 (which contains standard clamp 7843226), using J35910 Drive Axle Seal
Clamp Pliers. Refer to Illustration.
