Camshaft Replace - Pushrod Engine

1.
Remove engine from vehicle as previously described.
2.
Remove valve lifters and engine front cover as described previously.
3.
Mark position of rotor to distributor body, then remove distributor from engine.
4.
Remove fuel pump and fuel pump pushrod from engine block.
5.
Remove timing chain and camshaft sprocket as previously described.
6.
Remove camshaft thrust plate to engine block retaining bolts and the thrust plate, Fig. 12.
7.
Remove camshaft from engine block.
8.
Reverse removal procedure to install. When installing camshaft, align crankshaft and camshaft sprocket timing marks, Fig. 12.
