INCORRECT SEAT BACK CONTROL ALLOWS SEAT BACK TO FOLD FORWARD (CORRECT PART NUMBERS)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988-1989 SKYLARK SEDAN

Should comments be received from owners of 1988 or 1989 Skylarks 4-door sedan model having a front seat that folds forward, as is the case with
2-door coupe seats, it is possible that the 2-door front seat control assembly was installed in the 4-door seat during production.

A new 4-door seat back control assembly can be installed in the seat should the owner wish to have it changed. The following information may be helpful
when ordering the correct seat back control assembly from GMSPO.
