Obtain tool J-36660, referring to Step A in Figure 5, install and TORQUE cylinder head bolts, IN SEQUENCE to the N-m (lbs.ft.) listed for each
group of head bolts. DO NOT add the angle (degrees) turn at this time.

After completing Step 10 on all ten bolts, tighten IN SEQUENCE, the cylinder head bolts through the additional degrees, as specified for each
separate group of bolts in Step B of Figure 5. Refer to Figure 6 for bolt torque degree chart.

IN SEQUENCE, loosen each bolt one turn and immediately re-tighten it to the torque specified in Step A of Figure 5.
13.
After completing Step 12 on all ten bolts, tighten IN SEQUENCE, the cylinder head bolts the added degrees indicated in Figure 5, using J 36660.

14.
Assemble the rest of the engine, referring to the appropriate service manual.
