MODELS AFFECTED:
1989 CARS WITH THM 440-T4/4T60 TRANSMISSIONS
ASSEMBLY COMPONENT CHANGE
A new reverse band apply pin gage is required for all 1989 and 1990 THM 440-T4/HYDRA-MATIC 4T60 models. The 1989 and 1990 transaxle
calibrations require a longer reverse band apply pin selection set. This new gage pin will make the band apply pin selection about 0.080" (2 mm) longer
or two sizes longer than if gage pin J 33382-2 is used.
