Voltage Regulator: Testing and Inspection
1.
Connect a voltmeter and fast charger to battery.
2.
Turn ignition switch On and slowly increase charge rate. Indicator lamp in vehicle will begin to dim when voltage setting is reached.
3.
Observe voltmeter, light should dim at 13.5 -16.0 volts.
4.
If no voltage is present, replace voltage regulator.
