some of our 1992 and 1993 Buick Skylark models equipped with column shift. We are writing to you today with our action to resolve this condition
before it might occur on your vehicle.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RECALL FOR:
Certain 1992 and 1993 Buick Skylark model vehicles equipped with column shift may exhibit a condition where the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock
solenoid becomes stuck in the engaged position and does not allow the transmission to be shifted out of Park.
ACTION:
To prevent the possibility of this condition occurring, dealers will replace the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) solenoid at no charge to you.

Please contact your Buick dealer as soon as possible to arrange a service date. Instructions for making this correction have been sent to your dealer and
parts are currently available. Please ask your dealer if you wish to know how much time will be needed to schedule and process your vehicle.
