J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer (Typical Usage)

Remove or Disconnect

Tool Required:
J 39232 Wiper Transmission Separator

1. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
2. Negative battery cable.
3. Top vent grille panel.
4. Transmission drive link socket from wiper motor crank arm ball using J 39232.
5. Electrical connectors from wiper motor assembly (18).
6. Three screws (19).
7. Wiper motor assembly while guiding crank arm through hole.
8. Seal (17) from wiper motor assembly.

Install or Connect

Tool Required:
J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer 

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Seal (17) on wiper motor assembly (18).
2. Wiper motor assembly while guiding crank arm through hole.
3. Three screws (19).

Tighten

Screws (19) to 9 N.m (80 lb. in.).

4. Electrical connectors to wiper motor assembly.
5. Transmission drive link socket to wiper motor crank arm ball using J39529.
6. Top vent grille panel.
7. Negative battery cable.
8. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
