Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Removal/Installation

1.
Remove drive belt.
2.
Disconnect pressure and return lines from power steering pump. Allow fluid to drain into a suitable container.
3.
Front adjusting bracket to rear adjusting bracket bolt.
4.
Front adjusting bracket to engine bolt and spacer, Fig. 19.
5.
Remove pump with front adjusting bracket. Separate pump from front adjusting bracket as necessary.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
