ENGINE COOLING FAN RELAY REPLACEMENT

MODELS AFFECTED: 1982 AND 1983 CENTURYS AND SKYLARKS EQUIPPED WITH 2.5L Engines (LR8) And AIR CONDITIONING
CONDITION

Some late 1982 and all 1983 Century and Skylark models equipped with 2.5 liter engines and air conditioners were assembled with engine cooling fan
relays which could cause the engine cooling fan and air conditioning system to be inoperative.

DEALER ACTION

To prevent the possibility of this occurring, dealers are to replace the cooling fan relays on all involved vehicles.
