MODELS AFFECTED: 1984 BUICKS
The use of lightweight bumper materials on some car models means that bumper mounted hitches can no longer be used an these models.
Inability to use a bumper hitch does not mean a trailer cannot be towed. It does mean that at least a lightweight frame/body hitch is required.
The following table indicates that ("yes") you can use a bumper mounted hitch.
