Water Pump: Service and Repair
Installation

Water Pump Mounting

1. Install water pump on dowels.

2. Install water pump attaching bolts and torque to specification.

3. Install water pump pulley.

4. Install water pump pulley attaching bolts.

5. Install lower radiator hose at pump.

6. Install heater hose at pump.

7. Install accessory drive belts to proper tension.

8. Add engine coolant.

9. Connect negative battery cable.

10. Inspect for proper completion of repairs.

11. Inspect for coolant leaks.
