ENGINE ROCKER ARM STUD
MODELS AFFECTED:
1985 SOMERSETS, SKYLARKS AND CENTURYS WITH 2.5L L-4 ENGINE (VIN CODE R AND U)
A broken rocker arm stud may be encountered on the above engine. This condition may be the result of a shallow stud hole in the cylinder head.
Grinding a small amount off the end of the new stud prior to installing it in the head will usually correct this condition.
