Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door. See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Water

2. Remove the front door window. Refer toWindow Replacement - Front Door   (See: Front Door Window Glass/Service and Repair) in Doors.
3. Loosen the front door window regulator module.

4. Remove the front door outside handle rod (1) from the outside handle.
5. Remove the lock rod from the outside handle lock cylinder.
6. Disconnect the front door lock module harness connector, if equipped.

7. Remove the front door outside handle screws.
