with 3.5L V6 Engine VIN L [vans] and 8 [cars] - RPO LX9)
Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to add VIN 8 for cars. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 05-06-01-005A (Section 06 - Engine/Propulsion System).
Condition
Some customers may comment on an audible whistle type noise coming from the engine on acceleration or steady state speed.
Correction
Replace the PCV tube with P/N 12601804. If the condition is still present after the replacement of the new PCV tube replace the upper intake manifold
with P/N 12596912.
