Suction Hose Replacement (With RPO Code C60 Compressor)

SUCTION HOSE REPLACEMENT (WITH RPO CODE C60 COMPRESSOR)

TOOLS REQUIRED

J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:  Cap or tape the open air conditioning (A/C) components immediately in order to prevent system contamination.

1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the suction hose to A/C evaporator tube bolt (1).
3. Remove the suction hose from the A/C evaporator tube.
4. Remove and discard the sealing washer (2).
5. Cap or tape off the A/C evaporator tube.
6. Disconnect the A/C compressor electrical connector.
