6. Remove the discharge hose to A/C compressor nut.
7. Remove the discharge hose (3) from the A/C compressor.
8. Remove and discard the sealing washer (2).
9. Cap or tape the A/C compressor discharge port.

10. Remove the discharge hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install a NEW sealing washer (2) onto the A/C compressor side of the discharge hose. 
2. Remove the cap or tape from the A/C compressor discharge port.
3. Install the discharge hose (3) to the A/C compressor.
4. Install the discharge hose to A/C compressor nut.

Tighten the nut to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
